Prachee Agrawal started painting at a very young age. She started her journey in India and dabbled with painting on a lot of different mediums such as fabric, glass and wood; learning and experimenting with diffèrent techniques. She moved to U.S when she was a teenager where she pursued her undergraduate degree in Chicago, taking a brief hiatus. In 2008, when her son was born, she reconnected with her love for painting, decided to follow her heart and pursue her painting career under the tutelage of Donna Dewberry renown for her One Stroke Technique. What she did for blending and highlighting using three brushes, she learned from Donna to do the same using one brush and in one stroke of brush. This technique inspired her so much that she decided to learn and teach it.
Prachee took her first One Stroke Certification in 2010. From there onwards she started teaching One Stroke technique to her many students. Soon, she became a devoted practitioner of Donna Dewberry’s One Stroke technique and was recently certified as an Elite Instructor in the One Stroke Technique (achieving this status required progressing through levels 1-2 in this technique) and Water Soluble Oils.
Prachee’s lifelong dream of opening her very own studio became a reality, with the inauguration of the Prachee Arts & Studio(Jacksonville, FL) in February 2016.
